I'm an international student and I'm thinking of applying to the U.S. I have already applied ED for Dartmouth and am thinking of Amherst for RD (I like small liberal arts schools).

As I was going down my college picks, I realized I have no target schools.
Since my parents are thinking of funding about $15,000-20,000 for me, I mainly searched for colleges with finaid for international students, and so far I only found schools like top liberal arts and ivy leagues.

Do any of you have suggestions for target schools? My stat:

SAT: 650 CR + 790 WR + 800 MA = 2240
SAT II: Math Lv2 760 / US History 770
AP: Chinese 5 / Lang 4 / US History 5
TOEFL iBT: 118 (28 on speaking)
GPA: 3.73 / 4.00 (unweighted) - top 10% of the grade
EC: nothing particular, some clubs and one sport, without significance..
Community Service: Summer Camp TA (200 hr +), church youth leader (200 hr +)
Senior Course Load: AP Bio / AP Lit / AP Psych / AP Macroecon / AP Stat
Interested major: Psychology / Linguistics

Anyone? Quite desperate at the moment D: any comments appreciated!

Dartmouth, despite its name, is not a “small liberal arts school.” It is actually a research university with a strong emphasis on undergraduate education.

Grinnell College is an LAC whose rural location in Iowa makes it less competive for admission than Amherst and similar East Coast schools. Grinnell is also known for offering money to international students.

Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, is another terrific LAC with a strong international student body. Not sure about their aid, however. Check it out here:
