gotta bring those grades up

ahhh im a second semester junior and I really need to pick my grades up. I have 4 a's and 2 b's and am hoping for straight a's this semester. Any juniors here nervous about 2nd semester.

This thread will probably only stress us unnecessarily while we SHOULD be doing some actual work, but yeah...I'm in the exact same boat. My midterms killed. However, I guess we have half the year to make up for time wasted, and we know what we're in for. =P

Whatever foos!

I've been slackin and been pullin straight B's, except for a my 3 non AP classes, which are guarnteed A+'s

Dunno, i've just been getting lazier nowadays.

Has anyone EVER had a midterm help them out in grades? They seem to only hurt me.

me too lol :D ..........

and exams helping my grades...never...:(

KILL THE EXAMS. Kill them... ALL! MWAHAHAHAH..

*Ahem. Sorry.

anyhoo, does anyone know how to fight junioritis (heh heh, not a good sign, i know)

hahahaha .... junioritis, wow ilovetocamp, you've just invented a new word for the CC dictionary! (errr....at least i've never heard it before  )

before we know it, there's going to be a "sophomoritis" and "frosh_itis" lol :D :D

hahah! however, any freshman that complains of "frosh_itis" will swiftly be smited by the might of my hypocrisy.

wait... that didn't make much sense.. o whatever

i feel froshsecondsemester_itis if that counts for anything?

hehe.. this is the week i get back on track tho..

i hate having this freakin laptop in my room because i always do other things instead of my homework. ARGH

I'm a junior too...
I have pretty good grades anyways... but I have two IB exams this semester (Math and Bio). Scary thoughts. Not to mention that we got THREE textbooks on the first day of Calculus! Oh well... after May 4th I am NEVER taking math EVER EVER EVER again. That will be nice.

ilovetocamp- My midterm Math marks always bring me up. At my school if you're in IB, you take the regular midterm. Our class average for the 30Pure Midterm was 91 (I had 100... score!), compared to a ~65 average in the regular classes. They do it like that to bring your marks up from the harder IB stuff in class. And trust me... after IB math tests, the regular midterm is a joke.
