I am looking for safety schools.
I've got an incomplete list of reach and match schools, but my main concern is safety schools.
I am thinking of U of I in Urbana Champaign and U of Colorado.
If you have any suggestion, I will be glad to hear it.
(ps: if you have any reach or match suggestion It will be great too)

Arizona, Colorado, FSU, possibly Florida/Georgia, UConn, and I'm sure there's alot more but it depends on what you want. Arizona, UConn, FSU, and Colorado could give you near a full ride, and UGa/UF could get close.

I am looking for colleges with good Economics program.

University of Chiago was on the top of the list for this reason. DO you know

any other colleges with strong economics that might suit for me?

U of Illinoise (UIUC)

As long as you apply early, you will get into UIUC with a 32 ACT score and strong GPA. Is UIUC what you want? It has a very strong financial /business offerings; their accounting program has been rated #1 in the country. It is huge, and impersonal, especially for the first two years or so. You may be eligible for the James Scholar program, which gives you extra opportunities and some smaller classes.

If you want to look at a smaller school, I suggest Denison University in Granville, Ohio. It has an excellent economics department and is generous with merit aid, including a scholarship for Asian-Americans.

Harvard and UPenn have the best business programs. A good university for you would probably either Carngie Mellon University, or NYU. By the way... Koreans rule!!!

Sorry -
When I re-read your post, I realized that you were an international student. I don't know how good your chances would be at UIUC under those circumstances. You should e-mail their admissions department and ask for advice.
