Does anyone know the average gpa of accepted applicants at cornell? The info on the website does not give gpa averages, it just says many factors are taken into consideration for admission. So, if anyone know the GPa, that would be appreciated.

its irrelevant, because gpa, unlike sat score means nothing in itself as it varies for each school depending on grade inflation, deflation, competitiveness, average gpa of school etc

I know it varies, but can anyone give me a rough estimate?

any one?!?

chillax, i also have a middling GPA, and i ain't worrying... just 9 more days btw... i also have high sats... lol, and they're gonna end up hurting more than helping (lazy student)

I don't think that statistic exists. GPA means nothing out of context, so I doubt anyone bothered figuring out the average GPA.

the average gpa for an admitted student is around a 3.5. this is coming from the assisstant head of admissions who emailed this to me.

Wow, that's pretty shocking...but still probably irrelevent in the long run.
