GPA calculation (UPenn and Cornell)

Hello,

Since my high school only gives grades in percentages, I would like to know how to change them to a 4.0 scale based on the scales used by Cornell and UPenn. I have heard that 94+ means 4.0 GPA, but I wanted to make sure.

My grades are:
9th - 94%
10th - 96%
11h - 100%

Does this mean my unweighted GPA is 4.0 on all three years?

Your UW GPA would be a 4.0 according to college board:

Not necessarily. OP gave the average of all classes. If one class is an 80%, the GPA is not 4.0.

Regardless, for the schools in question, do not recalculate your GPA. Report it as a percentage so that it matches your transcript.
