GPA Confusion

<p>Hi There,</p>

<p>Do colleges take your GPA as the your CGPA through 11th grade,</p>

<p>or</p>

<p>your new CGPA inclusive of 1st semester senior year?</p>

<p>My GPA dropped from 3.73 to 3.68 because I'm taking 4 APs in senior year and AP Physics I'm getting a C.</p>

<p>Also do colleges look at the individual grades in the classes, or purely the GPA number, cause in my senior year 1st semester i have strong 90s in my other APs...i think I focused more on those than physics (although I jumped to AP Physics instead of taking normal physics)</p>

<p>It depends on the school. But don't worry - they will look at your individual course grades (those are of far more interest than your GPA), and a drop of 0.05 is not a big deal.</p>
