Well first of all, where are you transferring from?
There is a decent amount of difference from getting 3.538 in UMBC and 3.538 in Frostburg, for example.
Either way, I think you should work on your GPA to get up about 3.7. (That means rocking your Spring semester)
Also, you have to have something else besides your GPA for any school you want to get into. (Extracurriculars, internships)

Where are you transferring from? If it is an “easy” school, like a community college, than it might be on the low side. Also, 4 courses seems like a low number, but that is coming from an engineering hopeful who is going to be required to take 17+ hours / semester.
Also, many colleges require a minimum 3.0 for transfers, which you are well above. Just be sure to do well in spring and you should be good!

Their minimum for transfers is 12 credits so you should be fine in regards to that since you still have spring semester to factor in. Your gpa should also be fine since in 2012 their average gpa was 3.26 for incoming transfer students. Deffinately try to do some community service or join a club to solidify your chances. Best of Luck!!
