GPA mishap

Hi! This is my first post. I'll try to keep it short and to the point. I've been admitted to SJSU for Fall 2013. I'm still in the admit by self reported data phase. When I applied I assumed that when they asked for your GPA it meant from the last college you attended. I got my AA from San Jose city college and had a 3.14 so that's what I put on the application. A few weeks ago someone mentioned to me it's your cumulative GPA they wanted. The bad thing is I used 2 colleges on my application. When I did the math on the GPA from the 2 colleges it came down to a 2.76 :(

I know for transfers it has to be at least a 2.0 and my major requirement is a 2.5 so I'm safe in that respect. However I'm scared to death when they review my transcripts they'll discover the discrepancy in the cumulative GPA and withdraw my admission. I didn't do it intentionally, I just didn't pay enough attention on the application. Has anyone else been in thus situation? Is it going to get me withdrawn? I don't want to point it out to the admissions department because I feel safer hoping they miss or overlook it. I'm 33 and trying to get my life together and finish school and I will be devastated if I have to wait another year.

Any similar situation advice would be so appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I am sure this has happened before. You should contact SJSU to let them know you discovered the error. Since you are a nontraditional student they will probably cut you some slack.
