<p>Above a 4.0 is the norm, but you can’t really say with utter certainty because some schools it’s nearly impossible to get a 4.1 whereas other schools it’s possible to get a 4.8. So it really is school dependent.</p>

<p>what about unweighted gpas? my school doesn’t weight gpas, and they don’t do rankings by weighted gpa’s either.</p>
