GPA used for admission/scholarships

<p>UA uses the overall GPA. If a weighted GPA is on the transcript, they will use that.</p>

<p>Bama takes whatever the highest GPA is on the transcript - even if it includes PE, electives, and even religion classes. </p>

<p>The only time Bama recalculates is when a student’s school uses a scale like a 6.0 scale or a 100.0 scale. Even then, Bama doesn’t remove classes.</p>

<p>As for scholarships…again, weighted GPA is used, but of course, ACT/SAT scores are also used.</p>
