<p>Does stanford not count you freshman year in the unweighted gpa?</p>
<p>My understanding is that they do not.
However, it is a holistic process, so I believe that they will look at that year.</p>
<p>Also, I heard that they recalculate the GPA without any bonus points for AP or Honors and they don’t look at plus and minuses.</p>
<p>Of course, I heard it on the internet so it must be true ;)</p>
<p>They see what you got, but they calculate your GPA factoring it out.</p>
<p>Remember, your class rank still probably depends on your freshman year grades in part</p>
