<p>What is UIUC's average GPA for incoming freshmans? No site seems to disclose this information.... no even UIUC themselves. Whats the deal?</p>

What do you mean by that? I just want to know for LAS. Is it like 3.5? Higher? Lower? Do they look at weighted or unweighted?</p>

<p>oh for LAS only? well it's pretty low considering that quite a few people who....aren't that smart...apply to there and try to get into something easy like political science.
what i mean by it varies wayyyyy to much is that you have a bunch of people with above 4.0 gpas and then low gpas people who somehow got in with high ACT scores offsetting the average. they don't publish the average GPA because it does not reflect the true standards of the college.</p>
