I’m an international student applying to nyu for the fall semester this year, I have a gpa of 3.2(weighted) by my country’s standards but a gpa of 3.6 by US standard, I have an SAT score of 1300, what are my chances of getting in and getting a scholarship (if any).
Based on GPA and test scores alone you only have ok chances, but you could still get in. However if the other parts of your application are exemplary then you probably have a good chance of being accepted.
You have a moderate chance of acceptance, which would go up if your essays, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation are strong. However, most universities won’t give scholarships to international students, so you should be prepared to pay the full cost of attendance.
