I'm international and not familiar with GPA.

How do you calculate your gpa when the school grades you from 0-100 and when it comes to letters but no + or -?

How do you calculate your gpa when the school grades you from 0-100 and when it comes to letters but no + or -?

I'm not sure of the 0-100 you're talking about but for letters:

A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0

On a 4 point scale

If there is no + or - than it is the table above

Example: you take 3 classes, of equivilent value, and recieve A, A, B

4 + 4 + 3 = 11 / 3 = 3.67GPA

Here is a +/- table:

* A+ 4.00

So getting a B would hurt a lot. Is it better to go to a school with +/- instead? How is the table for +/-?

thanks ^^^^^^^^^

its not really that simple. you have to take class credits into account. So say you get an A in a 3 credit course, a B in a 4 credit course, and another A in a 4 credit course. You would have to do 4.03+3.04+4.0*4=40 then divide that by the number of credit hours you take (in this case 11), so 40/11=3.636
