<p>Would a GPA under a three automatically cause Ithaca to not want me?</p>

<p>Honestly, probably. I would say unless your essays and test scores are incredible a GPA under 3.0 would be hard to overcome. Is it just under 3? Have you taken rigorous courses and your grades are unweighted? What were your SAT/ACTs?</p>
<p>You should still be Ok if you did really well on your SAT's That was my son and he was accepted. He also had some decent extra curricular activities and good recommendations.</p>
<p>I definitely take the hardest classes at my school, and have many many extracurriculars and my SAT scores probably won't be amazing, but pretty good (I'd say around 1900).</p>
