Does Brown experience a significant amount of grade inflation? If so, does it hurt a student when they are applying to medical school?

The short answer to all speculation on that, is that Brown is among the top 5 schools in the country with the highest placement of premeds into med school. (add Harvard, Yale, Hopkins and Princeton to complete the list. That says it all )

hopkins? lol

^^^ Please let me in the joke... That was the reference I read, is Hopkins wrong?

Thanks guys....that was really bugging me. Too many people have been saying too many things...I know that Hopkins is one of the best Med Schools in the country =)

where did you get that info MovieBuff?

well, I re checked...and elpope is right about Hopkins. Hopkins is considered to be the best med school by many, but does not place as many premeds into med school as...Stanford! So, the top five are Harvard, Brown, Yale, Princeton and Standford (acceptance rate of pre meds into med school above 90 %)

Does Brown's include PLME? Because that would skew the results. Plme are already in unless they really screw up and even then...

MovieBuff,
What is your source for this info? I would like to pass it on to a friend who is currently a Junior in high school and is thinking about her college list. She wants to include colleges that have a high acceptance rate of pre-meds into med school.

no, the stats exclude PLME
