essay:
Hellen Keller once said that "the most beautiful things in the world cannot be be seen,or even touched; they must be felt with the heart." people are always trying to be happy, and they are searching to the way to happiness. Many people think that money,or material possessions in general, can bring happiness ; however, i contradict with this statement, and i think that the only way to happiness is how a person look to life.

Mahatma Gandhi is an example of a man who wasn't rich but lived a happy life. Although he was a great indian leader and was loved by many people, he didn't live an affluent life: in fact, he lived a very simle life. He only ate simplevegetariann food, he wore traditional indian clothes, and he undertook long fasts.Gandhi made that because he believed that happiness is not about eating high quality food or wearing expansive clothes, but it is about helping and loving others.

Another examples that prove material possessions don't guarantee happiness, are Amy Winehouse and Dalida. who, despite their affluent life style, were not only depressed and unhappy but also committed suicide.

This doesn't mean that money brings sadness and depression. Many rich people live a happy life such as Bill Gates and Oprah Winferry; however, many poor people also live a happy life such as those people who live in the third world countries; not all of them face a miserable life.

After the itimized explanation of the aforementioned examples, it is evadent that money is not the way to happiness. loving others, helping people, and looking to life in an optimistic way are the keys to happiness; moreover, money cannot guarentee happiness because the most beautiful thins in life are free
