<p>I don't know if this has been attempted in the past or not, but regardless, this thread is meant to help with the overabundance of essay threads cluttering these boards. It allows more important or popular threads to achieve greater prominence, and gives individual essays a higher chance of being reviewed.</p>
<p>If you've written up a practice essay and want it graded or reviewed by your CC peers, post it here, including the prompt, and other members will comment on it. Avoid any extraneous posts, and avoid "bumping" (in this case, posting to ask others to review your essay) your posts more than once every 24 hours.</p>
<p>Also, to any mod who sees this and approves of it, I would request that you sticky this thread.</p>

<p>IMO, each essay should have its own thread. For one, it allows for easier commentary from multiple people. If five people post an essay in a row, it’s harder to decipher which critiques go with which essay, there’ll be a ton of quoting, etc. Secondly, if all of the essays are in a single thread, each essay is likely to receive less attention and thus less feedback, which obviously goes against the whole purpose of posting an essay for feedback.</p>
<p>The fact of the matter is, this is a multi-million-post forum and the attempts to “organize the forum by reducing cliche threads” really aren’t going to be effective whatsoever.</p>
