Prompt: Can Knowledge be a burden rather than a benefit?

Knowledge has helped liberate us from many of the initial challenges facing mankind. Einstein and Alexander Volta are two famous inventors and knowledge seekers who embellish the idea that knowledge is not a burden but rather a benefit.

Einstein (1879-1955) was an absent minded german who moved to America during World War two. Ever since he was a child, Einstein was intellictually superior in some aspects but extremely lacking in others, which greatly helped him be successful during his pursuit of knowledge. Einstein brought about some of the most complicated and revolutionary inventions and discoveries that helped redefine scientific thought in the emerging markets. Einsteins law of relativity and his famous laws of motion supplemented most physians works and helped humans understand the space time continuem. While these may still seem puzzling, Einsteins pursuit of knowledge has helped us realize our place in the universe, and helped us construct atomic bombs and spark thought about the possibility of space travel. The inventions and discoveries by Einstein help portray that knowledge is actually power that helps humans understand their place in the universe, and helps answer some of the most elaborate questions. Einsteins multitude of knowledge exemplifies the belief that knowledge is power being that we can create new machines and devices that grossly help solve our problems.

Alexander Volta(1850-1910) was an American inventor and scientist acclaimed for his invention of the battery. He was cooking a broth composed of a dead frog when he noticed that the frog was twiching when he put a metal knife beside it. He was surprised that the frog was moving despite being dead. Initially, he put off the discovery as mere coincidence and a superficial tale. When he noticed a similar behavior again at his friends house, Volta began to study the chemical composition for frogs to see what was happening. Soon, Volta discovered that there was a special electrolite in the frog that was producing energy when in close proximity to the metal. Volta then applied this practical experiment by making the worlds first battery. He decided that a similar electrolyte could be created and formed. Alexander Volta clearly shows how knowledge is power. He pursued further investigation to find out about a natural phenomonon.

Both Alexander Volta and Einstein show how knowledge can be a benefit
