I took a 2 Unit UC Transferable course in a previous life. I got an "F". Since UC will only look at your latest grade, if I take the class again but Pass/No Pass, will either a P or NP override my previous "F"? I am aware that at UC campuses, if you retake a class, you must take it on the same grading basis as before. Does this apply to CC transfer students? Thanks y'all.

I think it does. You should call and ask though, they’ll give you a definite answer.

Do you need the class? If not have you looked into your schools academic renewal policy?

No I do not need the class, I have already exhausted my Academic Renewal at both CCs I have attended. I just have a pesky F in a pointless class I need to get rid of.
