I am considering rewriting one of my grades. Basically this is a legitimate process where I retake one of my classes. Then I get the new grade on my transcript with an "r" next to it. Colleges know this means grade rewrite. In your opinion do you think this might somehow affect my admission to any school? specifically highly selective ones?

If you got lower than a B and know you can get an A the second time around, I think a rewrite looks great. It shows that you had enough initiative to take the whole class over and do better.

I'm curious about this too. Any other opinions?
