Hi I’m currently a soon to be senior in high school and am strongly considering McGill as my first choice school after I graduate.
I’m currently enrolled in full IB and have a gpa of 92-93 before my IB bumps.
Everyone tells me that McGill is satan when it comes to grades and I really am looking to have a A or A- gpa (I actually need it if I don’t want my parents to kill me )
I guess I’m just wondering if it’s possible without potentially killing myself. I’m use to hard work, but I also want to know that it’s a realistic goal, or should I just consider another university that will get me there.
Oh ya, I would be considering most likely a major in international law and a minor in a language probably.
Getting a 4.0 (A) is virtually impossible at any school. Likewise a 3.7 (A-) will require a lot of hard work at any top school.
Why a major in international law? Is that even possible?
