Grades Policy on Non-articulated Classes

Hello, first time poster here.

I was recently accepted to UCSC (yay!) as a transfer, but currently I'm having an issue with one of my math classes. Right now I'm sitting with a mid-D, and hoping to pull it up to a C. I realize that I need to keep at least all C's to keep my acceptance valid, but this class isn't articulated towards anything required for my major (Computer Science). It IS transferable to some math classes at SC, but on Assist it says this class was 'denied' articulation for one of my math classes in the CS major. I'm taking this class because some other schools I applied to require it.

I talked to an admissions adviser at SC, and he said it's hard to say for sure if my application will be revoked. An email I sent a few weeks ago received a similar response. From what I understand, even if I magically recovered to an A, I'd still have to repeat the class there because it isn't articulated right?

Anyone here know how strict SC is on a situation like this? I'd hate to submit my SIR and then have it denied and be screwed for accepting another school's offer. :(

Thank you

Anyhoo, if anyone is curious I withdrew from the class mentioned above.

It did not affect my admission. :)
