Searching on threads from last year (at this same time), it appears that this Thursday (5/17) may be the day for grades. Good luck to all.

"the day for grades?", do you mean they will be requesting them?

i'm pretty sure that "day for grades" refers to the day that Spring 2007 grades for current USC students get posted on OASIS.

and man, i'm pretty unsure about what grades i'm getting this semester. for me, physics 151 is up in the air between an A and B (though my final wasn't great), and i think calc III is a B but a possibility of an A :( but i'm almost certain that i nailed an A in Writing 140 and my Cat VI. woo.

The day approaches :) It may be as late as friday, though, this year.

I know I'm curious, too, since only 2 of my grades were posted on blackboard...

Congrats on the writ140, phobos - who did you have/which cat 6?

Classes suck.

i had Trisha Tucker, and Race and Class and Class in Los Angeles (AMST 101). Trisha was great, nice and understanding, but critical and fair when grading...she really did want you to do better on your papers. Race and Class was really interesting too...very relevant, and definitely made you look at racial issues around you a little differently...also, it was pretty easy to do well, though not the easiest A i've had at USC so far, per se. highly recommended.

On the topic of GE requirements -->

For Category 1, I highly recommend Diversity and the Classical Western Traditions with Prof. Habinek. He is a Princeton/Harvard grad, one of the best professors I've ever had and his class is very interesting. Olanna Mills was my TA and she was fantastic so sign up with her if you take the class.

OASIS appears to be down. Hmm. I bet they are loading the database with new records (grades?).

One would hope, but with the frequency that OASIS randomly goes down for no reason, I would not expect much out of this :)

Yeah, blackboard was down a lot yesterday.

I've begun to hate that site.

anyone able to get into OASIS? Seems like a long time to be down (continuously).

Yeah I can get on OASIS, but grades aren't up yet.

Yes, you are correct. We were (just now) finally able to logon. And yes, there are no grades yet. thanks.

So grades aren't up yet per se, but if you go to OASIS and select "completed course summary" you can view your cumulative GPA which includes the grades from Spring 2007. While you can't yet see individual grades for each class, with a little math you can figure out your GPA for the semester. Good luck to everyone!

Not for everyone, my cumulative GPA is still showing the same it did after fall grades, which I'm pretty sure isn't true after spring grades.

yeah, my GPA definitely dropped to a 3.92 heh. time to crunch some numbers and figure out this semester's GPA...

EDIT: ok...apparently a 3.85? judging from the points missing from the total, i got either A's and a B+ or two A-...shrugs but i'd rather not speculate and just wait for the grades

yeah same here jessetfan

Yes, it does show the cummulative GPA.
Includes: Uatt, Uerr, Gpts, GPAU, GPA.

thanks.

You guys are about to love me. Log into OASIS and once you are in click this link: https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/grades.aspx?SeltdTerm=20071

Although OASIS hasn't updated, the grades are there. 2007 is the year, and 1 means the first semester of that year(1 = spring, 2 = summer, 3 = fall).

edit: Doesn't matter anymore...grades are now up under "grade report"

Beautiful. I'm finally eligible for ALD. First semester was so bad.
