Grades vs Course difficulty?

Which is better for MBA school admissions? Course difficulty or better grades in easier courses?

Grades, they're not going to know how difficult any of your courses are. Some classes might sound like blowoff classes but could be very difficult.

What about majors? Do MBA admissions prefer certain majors like engineering over science/liberal arts?

Your major is not very important compared to work experience, which is the single biggest criterion for MBA admissions. In fact, academics as a whole isn't as important as work experience, leadership, and character qualities, which is why the average undergrad GPA's at the top b-schools are not nearly as high as those of law schools and med schools.
