I was accepted to RISD and planning to go there..
I have a problem...
My AP Art History grade is a D+.
One of out school policy is no harsh graded assignments after the AP exam and it is tomorrow..
I'll probably get revoked right?
omg...

Not necessarily. So don't despair. RISD has already evaluated your portfolio and your overall academic credentials and probably doesn't care about your grade in AP Art History, as long as you do indeed earn your high school diploma. Do the best you can in this and other courses so that you don't jeopardize getting your diploma. My daughter was in a similar situation with respect to a math class in her last semester in high school, and RISD told her what I just told you. There was no problem. She completed her RISD program quite successfully three years ago.

The mature thing to do (and teachers are always looking for that mature thing) would be to go to your AP prof., explain your predicament, take full responsibility for it, and see if there is anything you can do to raise that grade. It's worth a shot . We all make mistakes in life, it's how we deal with them that makes all the difference.

do not even begin to worry about it.

I second artschoolmoms advice. See if you can get an extra-credit assignment, a re-do on a paper, whatever.
