Some colleges calculate minus and plus grades (like B+) into their GPA, some don't. My question is, do the schools that don't calculate it (in fact, I don't know any colleges that have minus or plus grades) still look at the minus or plus grades, or do they just see the base grade, like and A, B, C, etc? For example, would there really be a difference if a person had all A-s or a person that has all A+s?

idk, but if not, that could be great if you have all A-s, but would suck if you were me and just happened to have a B+ in English. An 89. Then it would be like I'm one pt. away from having an "A," but b/c my teacher refused to allow me to do extra credit, I now have a "B," which groups me with kids who have 80s. And there's a much larger difference b/w 89-80 than 90-89.

I don't think there is a difference. It really depends on how your high school calculates GPA/rank

for my sake, I hope they drop the minuses. Then I have a 4.0 :)
