grading scale

Hi i applied to tech with a grading scale A=90-100, now my school actually does a gpa scale of A-=90 to 92, 93 to 96 is A, and 97 above is A+ and so on for the other letter grades.

Now I called the office and they said that since tech oinly uses A,B,C,D scale, that i should put 90 to 100=A, and 80-89 is B, i thought i should have put A=93 to 96 but they told me to include the numerics for A- and A+ as well. guess i am very paronoid, since i got a lot of B+ on honors courses

i somehow got in and i was hopeing was this was acutally the right way to put the grading scale, and was hoping to see if you guys also think the same. i just dont want to think i can go to tech and find out their was an error on my transcript scale
