<p>For South Campus UCLA definitely leans towards deflation (or at the very least stability). In my math class only about 5/200 people got solid As. North Campus classes, in general, are much easier to get an A in although there are some exceptions (Communications 10 being one I can think of off the top of my head). I’ve been able to get As an all of my North Campus classes despite the fact that I’m a South Campus major and put in very little effort towards them.</p>

<p>if ur smart and schedule certain teachers accordingly, you can def have severe grade inflation.</p>

I don’t think it happens at UCLA. Aside from those who were weeded out, I believe the average GPA of engineering students is not below a 3.0. My best guess is it is between a 3.0 and 3.2. At some midwest universities, the average GPA of the graduating class is below a 3.0.</p>
