<p>Does being a Stanford undergrad give you any kind of preferential treatment for Stanford grad schools? Or do they prefer their undergrads go to other grad schools?</p>
<p>i really hope so....i wanna do Stanford Undergraduate Enginering and follow it up with a Stanford MBA, but thats a dream.....</p>

as far as i know, university of michigan doesn't give preferential treatment to their undergrads for getting into their med school, so it would be nice to know if other schools are like that too.</p>
<p>I believe that 10% of Stanford undergrads who apply to Stanford Med School get in, but I don't know if that's based on preferential treatment or not.</p>
<p>Well since the med school total acceptance rate is about 3%, it seems like there might be some preferential treatment. But then you have to take into consideration that if they got into Stanford undergrad to begin with, they're hard-working students anyway and may have gotten in from another institution. Who knows.</p>
