Anyone have experience with the Mathematics department at Virginia Tech at the graduate level? I will be finishing my undergraduate degree in Mathematics in about a years time and was considering apply to Virginia Tech for graduate studies. Just wondering how difficult it is to get into their graduate program, and what the quality level of the program is?
Well, I would think that you would know better than most people who are going to post here, since you are already an undergrad. In fact, I’m interested in what you think about the Math department (my son is applying for RD) and how difficult were the classes. Did you have grad students as TAs?
