Hello, I am a international student trying to go to graduate school for a masters in Computer Science. I am applying to CMU, MIT, Princeton, and other top programs.
I understand that most top schools meet 100% demonstrated financial need for undergraduate admission. Is there something like that offered by top colleges for their graduate schools?
I am ineligible for FAFSA, which is a problem.
PLEASE HELP
MIT doesn’t offer just a master’s in CS.
But no, most universities, even top ones, base MA/MS funding on academics and not need. Most masters are not funded.
Graduate studies financial aid is not need based. It is based on the strength of your application and the school’S desire to have you as part of the grad school cohort. Most masters programs are not fully funded.
In addition, you will not be eligible to take out loans for these programs here.
You can contact the colleges and ask what typles of funding you can be considered for.
In another thread you say you are applying through QuestBridge and an entering freshman.
