I just got 780 on writing with 78 mc 10 bloody essay on like the best essay that i ever wrote. full 2 pages, 3 examples, 2 science + 1 personal. followed grammatix method almost exactly.

last time i had 1 and half pages, no grammatix method and still got a 10. whaaa

and neither does the auto essay scoring. I've never gotten below a 12 on the stupid auto scoring for the past 10 essays.

A 10 is still a good score on the essay. Read about all the people who expected 12's and got 7's. You should be glad you got out alive without them deciding to hand you a 4 to ruin the rest of your score.

no, my examples weren't sucky. I had one from i believe the catcher in the rye, and one from the matrix. Both of which i'm familiar with (practiced both examples in practice essays, with 12s). And i DID NOT make up the third example, actually. It was actually quite an extrodinary event that happened in my life, which i will write about in my college essays. Although, since it was quite "extraordinary", they might've thought that i made it up.

Grammatix? I only used one example, almost attempted a second example kind of sorta, and then made a terrible attempt at a conclusion. I managed an 11 essay (790). I guess I just knew what I was talking about (Bill Gates and Microsoft).

well the good thing is, i'm satisfied with my writing score, and i take consolence in knowing that i managed to go from not knowing the basics of grammar last june (not even parallelism or verb/subject) in english class, to a 78mc on SAT's...
