@compmom what two year degrees would best match my interests I mentioned? I Don’t want to work directly with customers or patients but also Don’t want to sit at a desk all day. Do meteorologists have assistants like other professions do? Unfortunately, my community college does not have associate of applied science degrees in Engineering Technology.
The reason I ask the above question even though it goes into more depth ( I know I’m not suppose to make things go into depth on CC) is because I don’t see my interest in STEM going away.
Does anyone see non traditional students get degrees in STEM?
I just found out that Purdue (the school I want to transfer to) has more aid than I thought because they offer something new called the boiler affordability grant that I would likely be eligible for.
How are you doing?
Well me and my mom are moving out to get away from her mentally abuse boyfriend. I had to go to the dentist the other day and my Trig teacher will let me make up my test I missed because of it. My regular therapist will hopefully refer me to someone who specializes in grief when I see him in a few weeks.
It’s very impressive that you’re continuing to push forward despite everything you’re having to deal with right now.
Hang in there. You’re doing very well despite all the grief, confusion, and stress you’ve been feeling.
Can anyone share with how they were able to on after a death of a loved one?
Go to your counseling center. They will be able to help you.
with withdrawing from one course, a few Cs, and a B in my other math class this past semester i would say i did pretty good for what i went through this past semester.
i’m still going to counseling and will until i can help myself when i’m down.
I’ve been retaking trigonometry this summer and have been doing well enough.
I’m still working in my Retail Job but may have other Job offers.
i’ve been volunteering for a few organizations this summer and hope that helps me make good friends and support.
i hope to be driving soon so i can go see my brother and other relatives that i still have.
Good job Geo.
