What did you start a week ago - the online classes?
There are complaints against every school. I wouldn’t go to the U of Phoenix, but I know quite a few people who did and were happy with it. One just graduated in June, and he originally went to Ole Miss but that didn’t work for him. My nephew’s aunt has an MBA and is a telecommunications exec. She originally went to U of Chicago but didn’t like that. Neighbor was a more typical UPhoenix student, taking a nursing course while working and raising a family.
@romanigypsyeyes yes i did i have 2 more weeks left starting tommorow and they havnt processed a thing and its so frustrationg i didnt expect for a school i attend to be phishy and very scammy
Most definitley there are hundreds and thousands of complaints i recently read saying the school is a joke
As well they led me on and said i will have thousands of job offers and i just started to look into reviews and everyone is stating the paper is useless and they cant find a job so i was misled
meant to say weeks ago @Madison85
So your current course is $3000?
One suggestion is that you finish that one class since you’d likely have to pay for it regardless. But then drop all additional classes you are registered for.
Make sure you haven’t passed the deadline to withdraw and get a refund of what you have paid for the term.
You need to read their website and find out their withdrawal dates. If you haven’t missed it contact them, in writing, to tell them you’re withdrawing. Send the letter to a specific person and make them sign for it. It won’t prove what you sent, but it will show you did contact them.
If you’re past their withdrawal date for the first course and withdraw now, you’ll be charged. But if that course is only $3k, that’s what you’ll be charged. It’s up to you whether or not you can afford to do that. If you have aid that will cover that course still send the letter, but make the withdrawal date effective the day after this class ends.
To send a letter to a specific person and get proof it was received, go to a post office with the withdrawal letter and pay to send it “certified, return receipt”.
