Would it be possible to conduct my own Independent Studies course in Ancient Greek and Roman History as I've always been fascinated by the Hellenistic and Roman era's yet unfortunately there is no coursework available at my school? I'd like to do something that would be put on a transcript, because among other things it would force me to work harder even as other academic commitments pile up. College courses or online courses would be quite nice, althoug I've been looking into creating the course myself at my school. I know a teacher who would be interested in teaching me. Do you guys think it's possible?
I'm currently a rising senior with exemplary grades but I just want to do that someting extra.

It’s certainly possible, though you have to talk to your school about it, not us. If you’re looking for suggestions, all the interesting bits happened during the Late Republic :D
