<p>This is information from the Princeton Review:</p>
<p>Fraternities: 14
Sororities: 13
Students in fraternities: 4%
Students in sororities: 2%
Registered organizations: 300
Religious organizations: 30</p>
<p>if you're looking for a vibrant greek life, NYU is not the place for it...same with athletics...NYU just isn't a greek/jock school</p>
