I just got an email saying Vanderbilt is missing application materials, and it turns out they need a copy of my green card. How do I send this? Email, Mail? Or is there a way I can fax it?

I just photocopied my green card with my scanner on to a word doc and replied to that message with the attached file.

^^^RypuAK… Are we allowed to do that?

I envision 3 options for getting Vanderbilt a “Copy of Green Card”:
- Send them your actual Green Card by snail mail (highly recommended! :-D)
- Make a copy of it, print it out, send it by snail mail
- Make a copy of it and then email it to them

I like attaching files in emails and sending them to people. All that uploading fun…mmmm… Oh, and I am cheap and do not want to fork over the 61 cents that it takes for me to send stuff via snail mail. Also, I want to make an empty gesture towards saving our environment by not supporting the use of trees that have been beaten up into a “pulp” in my daily communications.

In case anyone else was still wondering, I just got a confirmation from Vanderbilt that they have received the copy of my Green Card that I sent via email.

“We have received your document and will add it to your application file.”

Awesome… Thanks…
