Is there any place on campus to buy a quart of milk or a couple of eggs to make Brownies, without having to go to Wawa? (I realize Wawa is quite close, but am wondering if any of the snack bars has a small supply of groceries).

Mom – What is the problem with going to Wawa? It is only a block and a half away from Farinon. Is this just a price issue or is there something about Wawa that those of us in NYS and New England need to be aware of?

I was just in Wawa last weekend… they don’t have much.

I think the best bet might be taking the (free) bus to Giant supermarket or Walmart. The schedule must be on the website somewhere.

Nope. No problem. Just wondered if there was any place on campus, since there’s a plethora of dining options. Decades ago, when I was at Bucknell, I have vague memories of being able to buy a few basics in the snack bar. It was very convenient and I wondered if Laf had something similar.

Thanks to both of you for your thoughts.

re: wawa…best coffee ever; kind of a legend around here…(cheap gas too, if there is a gas station attached)…

My daughter and her friends make fairly regular excursions to Wegmans for the more exotic fare, but Wawa has served well for basics. Of course, they have access to a car.
