is there anyplace near the campus where i can pick up some lemons?
or some groceries in general?
just wonderin'

yeah but good luck getting there unless you have a car.

Closest accessible places are smaller marts in collegetown (Wilson Farms, Jason’s), Nasties, and Target (accessible via TCAT). The better grocery stores, such as Wegman’s, require a car.

it is possible to get to wegmans and walmart on the bus…but it can out to be a 3hr trip if you don’t time it right lol…

wilson’s farm is your best bet for lemon/limes…

[Garden Gate Delivery - Ithaca, NY > Sustainable Grocery Delivery](http://www.gardengatedelivery.com/)

They deliver in Ithaca. Three years ago there was an online grocery store that delivered around Ithaca. My daughter used to order a lot of fruit and water/milk from them, but they went out of business. Give this one a try

The bus doesnt go to wegmans anymore (at least from campus) but you can buy bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries from Wilson Farms (Ctown). Bus still goes to Tops though if you need a full service grocery store. Also, dining hall always has oranges, bananas, and apples-- so if you have a meal plan, just steal from there.

walk to wegmans if you dont have a car.

There used to be a "real’ grocery store, “the IGA”, on college avenue.
I mean, it was there for years. Many, many years.

I don’t know what happened to it, but it seems to me like it was really needed there, and its absence is a loss.

Yes it does. Take the 32 down to the Commons and wait until it changes to the 15 Weekdays.

Don’t forget you can always use [TCAT BUS : Home | Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit - Trip Planner](http://tcat.nextinsight.com/) to find bus routes.

Just to add: you can take any bus that takes you to commons, and then transfer to 15 :)

wilson’s farm but thats a bit expensive. tops is cheaper and easy to get to. so is wegmans but you need to head to the commons first if you want to catch a bus there

Elephant in the room. What the hell do you need lemons for?

Maybe he/she likes making meringue pies?

My guess is lemonade. :p

lol i laughed at the three posts above
my reasons are too scandalous to put in this forum… ;)

it is always best to have a lemon wedge handy when taking tequila shots. it may be an old wives tale but the lemon helps with the nausea?

also i have always put lime juice in my ramen or campbells (you guys should try it out)

AnbuItachi, it will take you HOURS to walk to wegmans, especially when you have to walk UP buffalo street with your bags of groceries

there are buses that go to wegmans, as someone has previously mentioned. i suggest only going to wilson farms in collegetown when it is absolutely NECESSARY because everything is completely overpriced.

Walking to Wegmans from North Campus should take less than an hour. Of course, walking back takes a little longer because you’re walking uphill with bags! There are buses you can take there and back; I’ve always just preferred walking there and taking a bus/taxi back.

I really don’t recommend buying ice cream if you’re walking back…Trust me. :(

Title is redundant. Lemons are fruits.
