Group Projects

Am I the only one that absolutely loathes these? I always end up doing all the work.

Same here. I’d much rather work by myself, antisocial as that seems.

I actually really enjoy group work. Partners, not as much. I mean it all depends on who I’m paired with and what the assignment is.

Yeah, I had to make a movie for my World History class for my final that’s worth 20% of my grade. Last week, we did our first day of filming, but one girl didn’t show up because she plays soccer and had a game that day, which we were totally OK with. This week, we filmed again, and she said she was going to be there. Problem is, she didn’t show up, and now I’m getting texts from her saying that she “didn’t know the address of the filming location.”

Of course, that’s BS because I posted the address over a week ago, and I even gave directions to said address. Even worse, we’re forced to give her credit because my teacher doesn’t give a crap about group problems. He said it’s either “sink or swim.”

Ugh…

This is why i use the free loader method.
Find people that get the best grades in the class ( better if ur friends with them beforehand) or anyone the teacher really likes. and have them do all the work c:

Although some classes i do all of the work because im too annoyed by stupidity

Haha yeah, stuff happens. It’s irritating though, when one person messes it up for the group or gets credit for all the work you did. But you can’t get too mad because that’s life, it’s just like being on an athletic team.

It depends who you are grouped with. Projects where we choose partners are fine, because my friends are generally as focused as I am.

Teacher-assigned groups, however, are another story…especially when the teacher tries to be “fair” to spreading out the freeloaders and workaholics evenly amongst different groups -.-
