GT Cornell Human Ecology

Hey

i was just wondering, everyone keeps talking about the transfer option as if its an entirely guaranteed admission but i talked to the main director Darryl Scott today and when i asked him if there is absolutely no chance of me being denied (after meeting all requirements), he refused to say that i will definitely be accepted. Also, he said that transfer kids get priority over everyone else but he never said anything about a 100% guarantee. Is anyone else a little worried about that possability or has been denied before?

Btw, in my actual letter from HumEc they never used the word guaranteed, its only in the short online blurb.

Maybe HE works differently than GT to ILR. If you meet the requirements It's a sure thing in ILR. That's y it's called a GT. Maybe HE transfers aren't even called GTs like ILR one's are. They call u a GT in the ILR letter. I guess he says no maybe because u may screw up and they want to hold the right to reject you. Who knows...

"denied (after meeting all requirements)" that's certainly odd... perhaps he was talking about the consequence of not meeting all requirements and u heard differently! I would contact him back and see… for ILR Ian kept reiterating how ur automatically in as long as u meet the reqs. and how it’s no longer their choice to deny u acceptance…. Well, GL I wouldn’t worry about it that much…just ask again!
