can I have the link too?
I’ll send you it @bizswann3
Did any who received a guaranteed transfer applied to an alternate choice in the Cornell application? And if you did, was your GT for your primary choice?
Can I have the link to the discussion? Thank you!
yo someone post the link
@artisticnative Can you please PM me the link to the GT facebook page?
Can someone please PM me the link?
Thanks
@artisticnative your original post gives me so much hope. My stats are just slightly above yours( extremely close) and I know that I most likely will not get in either, but seeing someone who was in the same position as me last year gives me so much hope. Thank you so much for posting this and good luck next year at Cornell!!!
I’m really late to this forum but i got the GT option spring as well! I was not considering it too seriously until last semester but I met all the course and GPA requirements so I think I’ll be at ILR next semester!!
I just submitted my application but I still have a bunch of school forms to hand in:( Does anyone know when we have to sign up for dorms for next year by?
anyone know when students will be notified that they are accepted?
I think that is worked out over the summer. Have you been officially accepted yet?
Cornell transfer admissions status still not updated to reflect High School final transcript or midterm report even though both were submitted. Anyone else have this issue? Notifications are sent out on a rolling basis according to transfer admission status page.
I hope this thread is still active! Any insight from past GT students would be appreciated! Are there any rejections with a GT option even if all the prereqs including a 3.0 GPA are met??
Also would it be better to go to CC to complete the prereqs or go to any of her other options? My D has an option to go to VTech, William and Mary, or NYU. Thanks!
Same situation here. Everything was sent weeks ago but the page has not been updated. There must be a backlog.
Does anyone know if I will still be in consideration for the transfer option if I submitted with a 3.3 cumulative GPA and a C in one course to cornells AEM major?
I think you will get put in the regular transfer pile because of the C. Not sure what the GPA requirement is for that major.
Hi momhs2016! I’m not one to usually respond to posts, but I feel pretty strongly about this:) If she is definitely planning on taking the transfer option, then I would recommend NYU for sure! I chose NYU even though I am not really a “city person.” However, I do not regret my decision at all, because the city has taught me to be more confident and independent. Although the city can be overwhelming at first, it was a valuable character building experience that I feel is worth the the time and tuition.
@xoxoangel Thank you so much for your feedback!!!
Can we guess when the CALS Transfer Option decisions will come out? This process has taken way too long, and is very stressful. I just want to hear already. Also, why hasn’t the website updated that my college report or midterm has been received?
