guys like prom dresses that show the girls boobs, only if its big. no but seriously, guys REALLY don't care. that's like asking guys to pick clothe out for you when you go shopping together, and it really can't get much worse than that.

a lot of the prom dresses i've seen are really gaudy. i guess just choose one that you won't be embarressed to look at again in 10 years time. perhaps one that is fashionable, something that you would wear to another formal other than a prom.

I agree with fudgemaster. Also, imacrazyscientist mentioned two (pink and blue) and they seem like the simplest dresses on the website page. Make sure you can dance in it and just have fun.

And if you want poofy hair and a tiara, go for it. In fact, do that everyday until your graduation. Have it on your deathbed. Anything you want. I don't mean this to sound sarcastic. I really mean that if you want it, don't limit it to one "special" day. Make everyday "special."

not for prom, but for an everyday thing. i just ordered it. haha. thanks for the website link. i can get it changed so it is shorter or something once it arrives so it's just a top. awesome. haha. thanks :]

I was really sure I was going to get a simple dress for my grad (last year)... until I tried a few on. I ended up getting a light pink, princessy looking dress (basically the opposite of what I thought I wanted). It was really fun to wear, even though I don't know where else I could wear it again. I have no regrets... :)

Oh... and my date was in a kilt (and so were his friends). I had to go all out :P.

I want to get a short dress. And my date is barely taller than me, so I guess crazy heels are out of the question. Not that I care much though; good shoes=less pain the next day.

Funny how a shoe's appearance varies inversely with its comfort level.

As a guy, I didn't particularly like any of those, but you get what compliments your figure. Something when you look back at the pictures looks elegant...you don't want any, "What was I thinking?!" moments ten years from now.

I'm definitely with MallomarCookie. Tons of make-up and really fancy hair are just distracting and not attractive.

I think the top 2 on the left in the first row look nice. And the light blue in the middle of the second row. I like the way light blue/blue looks on a girl but that's maybe bc those are my fave colors. I't really doesn't matter, pink is good too.
