guys: what do you think of girls in leggings?

<p>i'm a girl who is extremely disturbed by the omnipresence of leggings these days.</p>

<p>i'm fine if they are worn under a skirt or some shorts
i am NOT fine, however, if they are worn IN PLACE of pants. i don't know how appealing it is to guys, but to girls (or me, at the very least) it is disgusting& uncomfortable to look at; girls, do i really need to go up the stairs with another girl's rear end bobbing in front my face as i climb the stairs@ eight in the morning w/ a bowl of cheerios in my stomach?
do i?</p>

<p>i know that w/ the exception of girls who DO wear leggings, the others find it distasteful;
so what do guys think about girls who wear leggings in place of pants, or just leggings in general?
do you find it attractive?
i'm trying to find a good reason as to WHY anyone would wear these things...</p>

<p>I know this is a thread for guys but I just have to interject. I find leggings as pants just hideous. The only time I would approve of them is if they are legging jeans and are paired with heels and a cute shirt but ONLY if you can pull it off. </p>

<p>I’m sorry I just don’t think the image of a girls bottom eating her leggings appealing. I think if you’re going to wear leggings as pants they should be worn under a long tunic or a short-ish dress. Or to the gym!</p>

<p>In most cases, if guys are looking in that area, they want to see legs…not leggings.</p>

<p>LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. it’s really not a difficult concept. And it’s especially nauseating if the girl wearing them is not stick-thin.</p>

<p>Oh, I think of them ;). All joking aside, a girls body is one of the last things I notice. I probably think that wearing leggings the correct way is fine.</p>

<p>I always feel violated when there’s someone wearing leggings as pants and then you’re getting quite a detailed view of…everything. </p>

<p>I think leggings are very disgusting. They just look so, weird. I mean, legs freak me out sometimes too, but not as bad as leggings. I wrote on someone’s leggings once. :slight_smile: It was cool.</p>

<p>I like leggings, as long as they’re not worn in place of pants. Which means the shirt, dress, skirt, or shorts you are wearing over the leggings needs to completely cover your ass.</p>

<p>I once wore leggings in place of pants ._.
It was uncomfortable and I wouldn’t do so again. The occasion was a look-like-a-celebrity day and I dressed up as A. Hepburn from a scene in * Roman Holiday *, all black with black flats. It was fun, but still, the leggings were uncomfortable to be seen in.
I am, however, “stick thin” and have a dancer’s build, so that wasn’t an issue.
I don’t think that leggings are appropriate on most, though.</p>
