this wait is killing me ughh...well at least one thing i can look forward to is a hopeful acceptance letter from VCU now (but compare that to a degree from GW....)

So do you guys think any of us still have a chance....I kno some people got interviews this week but if we havent heard anything yet...do you think we could still possibly get it next week or.........are we rejected?

Has anyone been rejected from the program yet?

hey does GW come in mail or by email? and how much of a notice do u get for an interview? thanks

I think they should send out all the letter at the same time. Do they really notify all finalists before everyone else?

I just went for my interview on Friday. From what I was told, the last of the interviews are this Friday, and they chose 50 interviewees out of 700 applicants, and 30 will be chosen for a class of 20 students. Notifications will be sent in March for the finalists... I forget beginning or end of March. hope this helps

oh, I forgot, the notification for interview came in an e-mail and I got about 10 days notice, ish

actually one of my friends has an interview on the 22nd...so i doubt interviews end this friday

....has anyone since Nalgene heard from GW ba/md please post rejections + interview schedulings?

I still havent heard anything and am now pretty deppreseed........

Oh Welll : (

should I contact GW to see if I got an interview or not?

highschooldoc- that's good news! i'm surprised that they did the interview on a wednesday, as they scheduled all the other ones on monday or friday. if anyone needs to contact GW, contact Kirsten Walker- she's in charge of the BA/MD program

nalgene...do u by chance have Ms./Mrs. Walkers phone number....thanx for the help

ya if you have her # that'd be spectacular....

she responds fast

GoldSic have u heard from GWU yet?

When they say that 100 hours of community service are required, does that mean in high school or once you are in the program?

just emailed gwu... still reviewing applications... should hear within the next two weeks either way

ahhh...redland they told me that last week and the week before.........***, they are taking way 2 long i think the rest of us are just rejected

where did u see the 100 hours thing? i would think in the program. becuz i don't think they would require hs students to have that much as a requirement. they wouldn't say that directly. yes, it should be in the program--one that we're all biting our nails for--and we may all be rejected...

Is it just me or is everyone else here tired of the "we will notify you within two weeks" comment everytime we contact them?

I really just want to know what they have decided about my application. Thank goodness this was not my first choice.

Maverick, i feel exactly like u do......its like if we are rejected just let us know......dont keep us in the dark and drag on the process keeping up false hopes.

I saw the 100 hours on this link:
http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/content/view/28/46/

Since I don't have 400 hours of community service in high school right now, I was wondering if you would be outright rejected (similar to having a too low SAT score)...
