GWU Early Decision 1 2019

I wonder how many calls they’ve been getting

A lot, but “before Christmas” means nothing.

I can’t decide what’s the worst: the sleepless nights of anguish or the endless days of epic despair. I’m really ready to find out.

i believe we are hearing Friday, but my guess is that they are trying to have extra time in case anything happens because there is a chance for a technical issue

If anyone gets wait-listed…bless your soul

Does GW defer? Or only waitlist and accept

I believe it’s only rejection or acceptance.

It’s only acceptance or rejection? No deferral?

@luckyshanrock Correct. Honestly at this point I just need an answer. I need to apply to more colleges but I don’t want to waste 200 bucks if I send my applications and then get accepted like two days later.

Literally have that same debacle @Mattc3‌ … Haven’t done any apps besides GW (which includes supplements) oops

I’m pretty sure some people get deferred

Well I would rather get accepted (obviously) or denied, because if I am denied, I could move on.

I want to know as much as the next guy, but I’m sure all of our calls are not helping them finish up. I think it’s probably best to just wait. I know it sucks, but lets be real: they’ll get it to us as soon as they can.

Ya I get that, I haven’t called at all because I feel like it will jinx it. But, I completely agree.

Yeah calling won’t help them finish up any faster

Calling doesn’t effect anything… The people who answer the phones aren’t the admission reps.

Still it can’t help, it appears to just be making people more nervous

Plus it’s giving people mixed signals, adding to the nerves

For my own health, I am not gonna post on here anymore until I get the decision. Good luck to everyone!

So… to take everyone’s minds off of this… what’s your number 2 school? Mine’s AU. Same general perks, little farther from the city but it has its own campus which is nice.
