<p>You apply the fall semester of your sophomore year (in college).</p>
<p>the undergrad program is a 2 year program. hope that helps you wrap your head around it.</p>
<p>So what would you study/apply to before you apply to Haas?</p>
<p>You would be pursuing courses that will fulfill the Haas prerequisites (just Google Haas prerequisites). </p>
<p>As an incoming freshmen you would be applying as Undeclared/Pre-Business.</p>

<p>luckily you don’t have to finish the 7 breadth before your jr year…</p>

<p>I sorta woulda preferred to take my breadths over 4 years. Then I would’ve had more room to take courses of interest and maybe be some kind of scientist by now!</p>
<p>How are the summer employment opportunities in Haas?</p>
<p>@HA: naw it wasn’t bad at all. it’s just that i got really bored and felt that I wasn’t doing what I wanted to class-wise at Cal. I mean, breadths are interesting and fun and nice gpa boosters, but when it comes down to it, I feel like I didn’t learn very much at the end of my first two years. Idk how everyone else feels. it’s just weird being “pre-business” while everyone else seems to be taking classes for their major ASAP and lovin it (like my friend who was a chem major and was taking like all chem classes 1st sem soph year and I was stuck taking a couple math classes and breadths…) Kind of made me feel like I wasn’t working toward my business degree and felt pointless going to college if I wasn’t even studying what I wanted to <em>when</em> I wanted to. Which was part of the reason why I took up a double major to make my sophomore year feel less like a “filler” year (I finished my breadth 1st sem soph year, so last semester was basically completely useless, so luckily I got into 5 units of ugba classes at least… meh.)</p>
<p>I love the friends i’ve made and the experience and ec’s and other things I’ve had the opportunity to do/complete these past 2 years at Cal, but a part of me wishes I could’ve just applied to haas straight up and studied for 2 years and not have to have done all the pointless breadths and non-business-related prereqs. But that’s just me. </p>
<p>I’m just so ready to finally start the undergrad program and meet more haas peers/staff, is all. </p>
