Background: I’m a texan. admissions lady told me they are always looking for more Texans. It’s an elite prep school</p>

World History: 5, U.S. History: 5, Chemistry: 5, English Lang and Comp: 5, Physics C Mech: 4, Comp Sci A (C++):4, Calc AB sub.: 4, Latin Vergil: 4</p>
<p>Writing: 770, Chemistry: 770, U.S. History: 770, Math IIC: 790, Biology (Molecular): 800, World History: 800</p>
<p>SAT: Verbal: 750, Math: 740 (just retook this, should be 780-800): 1490</p>
<p>GPA: 92, no class rank, however junior year I had 4 bs(most were high bs) and 1 a. 1st quarter, 4 as and an 89, soph year 5 as, 1b, freshman year: 3as, 3 high bs</p>
<h2>My poor junior year grades can be explained by a personal problem in the first semester.</h2>

<p>A. I helped teach a computer literacy course for inner city kids: I built computers with my A+ hardware skills and I taught kids how to use computers</p>
<p>B. Every year I help with a thanksgiving feast, won the headmaster’s award</p>
<p>C. Last couple years I’ve volunteered 7 hours a week at my Chinese school, teaching math and Chinese (500 + hours)</p>

E. Model United Nations: won a speaker award at my area MUN before
F. Academic team: Varsity team captain (albeit team b:P)
G. Started a go club at my school: I teach people how to play go
H: Big brothers/big sisters: I was chosen to help mentor freshmen, movies and ethics and stuff like that
I: Math and Science Club: I guess I’m an officer but it’s kinda useless, honestly.</p>
