bald girls seem fine to me. yes they are less appealing than hairy ones (I mean on their heads ONLY) but bald isn't too bad

PS: I'm not bald/balding.

I'm losing hair too, and I was all worried because I thought I was the only one.

Someone once told me it was partially due to the kind of shampoo you use. Another person told me that a possible reason to hair loss is if you wear a cap a lot, or anything else that cover's your hair, especially if you wear things on your head after it's wet.

My mother suggested baby shampoo. After the mandatory derisive laugh, I decided I'd try it, and lo and behold! Hair loss reduced by about half, in two days...

i lost an abnormal amount of hair last year too... though my doctor says it's because of not getting the right nutrition and from... ehhh maybe... not exactly sleeping as much as i should have and stress :)

Who uses the word "dandy"? Not my fellow New Yorkers apparently..

oh also if you're iron deficient that can cause hair loss

i get anemic sometimes and it makes me lose more hair than normal (i have a lot of really thick hair so i shed like all over all the time)

im not losing any hair...yet... FIRST POST

I don't lose my hair, but when I'm really really stressed, I start sprouting a couple of gray hairs. :)

I got a bald spot a few years ago...:( It's all grown back now, though.

But really, GET YOUR THYROID CHECKED! Mine was covered in benign lesions and swollen!

so our thyroids could be at blame for this? :O

Who's seen the movie "The Craft?"
It explains it all.
